Ingredients
For the Hot Honey Feta
8 oz (225g) block feta cheese
2 tablespoons olive oil
1/4 cup honey
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
For the Appetizer Board
4 pita breads, cut into triangles
1 cup cherry tomatoes
1 cup cucumber slices
1/3 cup kalamata olives
1/4 cup roasted red peppers
Fresh oregano or parsley for garnish
Optional Additions
Extra drizzle of olive oil
Lemon wedges
Directions
Preheat oven to 190°C (375°F). Place feta in a small oven-safe dish and drizzle with olive oil. Sprinkle with dried oregano.
Bake feta for 12–15 minutes until softened and slightly golden on the edges.
While feta bakes, warm pita bread in the oven for the last 5 minutes until lightly toasted.
Prepare hot honey by gently warming honey with red pepper flakes in a small saucepan over low heat for 3–4 minutes. Do not boil.
Remove feta from oven and drizzle generously with hot honey.
Arrange warm pita bread, cherry tomatoes, cucumber slices, olives, and roasted red peppers on a serving board.
Place hot honey feta in the center, garnish with fresh herbs, and serve immediately.
