    Cloves are full of antioxidants and antibacterial properties, perfect for acne, oil control, skin tightening, and anti-aging. Here’s a full DIY skincare routine using cloves in 5 forms: Clove for Skin – Clove toner spray, gel, face oil, ice cubes, and a night serum, all with natural ingredients you can easily find at home.

    1. Clove Toner Spray (For Pimples & Skin Tightening)

    Ingredients:

    • 1 tbsp cloves (laung)
    • 1.5 cups water
    • 1 tsp rose water (optional for fragrance)
    • 2–3 drops tea tree oil
    • 1 tsp aloe vera gel (optional for soothing)

    Method:

    1. Boil the cloves in water for 5–7 minutes until color changes.
    2. Cool and strain the water.
    3. Add tea tree oil and aloe vera gel. Mix well.
    4. Pour into a spray bottle.

    How to Use:

    • Spray on clean face after washing, twice a day.
    • Can be stored in fridge for 5–7 days.

    Benefits:

    • Kills acne-causing bacteria
    • Shrinks pores
    • Controls oil and tightens skin

     2. Clove Gel (For Wrinkles + Glow Booster)

    Ingredients:

    • 1 tsp clove powder (or grind whole cloves)
    • Aloe vera gel – 2 tbsps. (fresh or pure store-bought)
    • 2 drops tea tree oil
    • 1 vitamin E capsule (optional)

    Method:

    1. Mix clove powder with aloe vera gel.
    2. Add tea tree oil and vitamin E.
    3. Store in a small container in the fridge (lasts 7–10 days).

    How to Use:

    • Apply a thin layer at night on affected areas.
    • Use daily or every alternate day for sensitive skin.

    • Reduces redness and inflammation
    • Lightens scars

    3. Clove & Mint Ice Cubes (Hydration + Pores)

     Ingredients:

    • 1 tbsp cloves
    • 8–10 mint leaves
    • 2 cups water
    • Optional: 1 tsp rose water

    Method:

    1. Boil cloves and mint in water for 5–10 minutes.
    2. Cool and strain the water.
    3. Pour into an ice cube tray and freeze.

    How to Use:

    • Rub 1 cube on clean face every morning.
    • Pat dry and follow with moisturizer.

    4. Clove Oil (Anti-aging + Glow)

    Ingredients:

    • 1 tbsp cloves
    • 3 tbsp cold-pressed coconut oil / jojoba oil
    • 1 vitamin E capsule (optional)

    Method:

    1. Slightly crush cloves and add to the oil.
    2. Warm the oil in a double boiler for 10–15 mins.
    3. Let it sit for 1–2 days for infusion. Strain.
    4. Store in a dark glass bottle.

    How to Use:

    • Take 2–3 drops and massage into skin at night.
    • Can be mixed with your night cream or used directly.

    5. Night Serum (Combo for Clear & Glowing Skin)

    Ingredients:

    • 1 tsp clove toner (from above)
    • 1 tsp aloe vera gel
    • 2 drops tea tree oil
    • 1 drop clove oil

     Method:

    Mix everything in a small bowl fresh before use.

    How to Use:

    • Apply on face at night and leave overnight.
    • Wash off in the morning.

    Precautions:

    • Always do a patch test before applying to full face.
    • Use clove-based products only 3–4 times/week if you have sensitive or dry skin — cloves are strong!
    • Avoid applying near the eyes.
