Ingredients
- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 packet active dry yeast
- 1 1/4 cups warm milk
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 tbsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup softened butter (for filling)
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tbsp milk (for glaze)
Instructions
- Mix flour, sugar, salt, and yeast in a bowl.
- Add warm milk, melted butter, and egg. Knead into a dough.
- Let the dough rise for 1 hour.
- Roll the dough into a rectangle.
- Spread softened butter, then sprinkle brown sugar and cinnamon.
- Roll tightly and cut into slices.
- Place rolls in a baking dish and let rise for 30 minutes.
- Bake at 375°F for 20-25 minutes.
- Mix powdered sugar and milk for glaze, then drizzle over warm rolls.
Notes
- Use fresh yeast for best results.
- Warm milk should be around 110°F.
- Let rolls cool slightly before glazing.
